Dry Moly

 GENERAL:

An excellent anti-fraction and anti-seize lubricant containing micron-sized molybdenum disulfide.  Characteristics – a grayish-black, dry lubricant that will withstand pressures exceeding 100,000 psi.  Suitable for temperature ranges from -110°F to 600°F.  Particle size, average, microns 1 – Adhesion – good on all metals, most plastics, glass and rubber.  Has a very low coefficient of friction.

 USES:

-Lubrication of mining, farm machinery or construction equipment particularly when dust or abrasive materials are prevalent.

-Lubricating component parts of both new and rebuilt equipment.  Prevents seizing, sticking, galling, chattering and other related problems which may occur during assembly and run-in periods.

-Moly spray reduces pressures needed to press fit, this preventing distortion, misalignment or seizure.

-Makes disassembly easy and non-destructive.

-Effects lifetime lubrication on equipment whose parts are inaccessible after assembly such as small timing devices, business machines, data processing equipment and certain types of electrical equipment.

 APPLICATION ADVANTAGES:

-Extremely effective for separating and lubricating metal surfaces where conventional lubricating oils cannot be maintained.

-Excellent adherence and wear resistance, extends life of bearings, cams, gears and other machine parts.

-A thin film is equally effective as a heavy one and has fast drying time of less than three minutes.

-Inert to water, oil, alkalies and many acids.

-Easily removed with at chlorinated solvent.
